As the Chairman of Global Holdings Inc. and Zodiac Maritime Agencies Ltd. Eyal Ofer has over 35 years of experience in real estate and international shipping. Over the years Ofer has established one of the world’s largest privately owned shipping groups as well as amassing a diversified global portfolio including the development of and investment in a variety of real estate properties.

The London-headquartered Zodiac Maritime Agencies Ltd control a fleet of over 150 ocean-going ships trading internationally, while the US-based Global Holdings specializes in large-scale commercial real estate and the development of high-end residential properties.

Among Global Holdings many projects are investments in several choice properties in Manhattan; a controlling share in Miller Global Properties; and a fund which focuses on real estate investments in North America and Europe.

For the twenty years from 1991 until 2011 Ofer was the chairman and CEO of Deerbrook Ltd. Some of Ofer’s other business interests include investments in cruise lines and banking. For over 15 years Ofer has served on the board of Royal Caribbean Cruises, the world’s second-largest cruise line and a New York Stock Exchange-listed company.
